Breaking Blue Monday

Blue Monday falls on the last Monday of the month before the payday you’re clawing towards after spending a fortune over the holiday period.

In an article written by Jonathan Moules for the Financial Times, Blue Monday was coined as the “most depressing 24 hours in the calendar”. Blue Monday came to fruition in 2005 by former psychologist Cliff Arner. The evidence used to pinpoint Blue Monday came from divorce filings, consumer surveys, debt level and weather reports.

Money troubles, feeling sluggish after a well-deserved break and returning to the office when it’s cold and windy just isn’t the vibe, right?
