How to Create the Perfect Back to School Routine

The summer holidays are drawing to an end and school season is back in sight. Whether you are heading to high school, embarking on our first day at college, making the move to University or helping your child settle back into school… with our Back To School check lists and advice, you’ll be ready to tackle the new school term.
Planning your Back to School Evening Routine
The night before the first day back at school doesn’t have to be stressful. By following out simple back to school evening routine advice, you can be sure to start the first day of term with a spring in your step.
1. Get your school uniform/outfit ready
One of the most important steps in preparing to head back to school is making sure your uniform or outfit is ready for your first day back.
Getting your school clothes ready the night before means you can have a relaxed, stress-free start to the day. After all, nobody wants to spend the morning of their first day back at school running round trying to find a matching pair of socks or the right shirt to wear!
Take the stress out of your first day back at school by preparing your uniform or choosing your outfit the night before. Iron it and hang it up so in the morning, all you need to do is pull on your outfit (most probably whilst still feeling half-asleep) and go.
2. Enjoy a relaxing bubble bath
If you’re trying to fight the back-to-school nerves, treat yourself to a relaxing bubble bath. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep by unwinding in the bath before you go to bed.
One of our Back to School favourites is the Strawberry Cream Bath & Shower Crème. This sweet scented bubble bath is filled with energising natural fruit extracts & skin loving moisturisers so you can enjoy a foamy bubble bath that will leave your skin beautifully-scented and silky soft!
3. Exfoliate and lather up with the Raspberry Ripple Love Heart Soaps
Why not turn that relaxing bath into a self-care pamper session? Back to school season also means Autumn is just around the corner so it’s time to start taking extra care of your skin and protect it from the cold weather.
Pamper yourself and feel scrumptious with our beautifully-scented set of Love Heart Soaps. These Raspberry Ripple heart-shaped soap gems will add a touch of love to your back-to-school pampering session. With a mix of beautifully nourishing natural raspberry seed oil and naturally exfoliating poppy seeds, these soaps will gently cleanse and exfoliate to keep your skin glowing.
4. Pack your school bag
Just like choosing your back to school outfit, packing your school bag the night before will also save you a world of drama on your first day back at school. From making sure you’ve got all your shiny new pens to keeping cool with a body spritzer for post-gym class, this checklist has you covered.

5. Catch up on social media & group chats
Obviously, we can’t forget social media when it comes to getting ready to head back to school!
No doubt the group chat will be going crazy as you all are making plans to catch up and chat about what happened during the Summer Holidays on your first day back at school. But don’t let the excitement of the group chat stop you from getting your beauty sleep… block out an hour to chill out and reply to all those social media messages then switch off your notifications and enjoy a phone-free evening!
Trust us, it will do you a world of good and help you enjoy a distraction-free night of relaxation before your first day back at school.
6. Moisturise with the Pink Marshmallow body butter
Now, that you’ve chosen your outfit, packed you bag and enjoyed a relaxing bath, it’s time for the final beauty step before you settle down for the rest of the evening.
Give your skin a dose of hydration with the sweet-scented Pink Marshmallow Body Butter. Inspired by sweet and sugary fun fair treats, this Pink Marshmallow Body Butter will ease you into the school season after a fun-filled summer. The nourishing blend of hydrating Shea Butter and Coconut Oil will leave skin feeling silky soft and beautifully hydrated!
7. Set your alarm for school
After a summer free from early morning alarms, getting out of bed for school might be a struggle. Make sure you set your alarm the night before to stop you from accidentally oversleeping.
Try to avoid the snooze button but if you are known for sleeping through your alarm, it might be a good idea to set a second alarm… just in case you happen to sleep right through the first one!
8. Unwind and read a book in bed
Did you know watching TV or scrolling on your phone late at night can ruin your chances of a good night’s sleep? Swap the electronic devices for a good book for a sure way to get a great night’s sleep.

9. Go to sleep early!
Finally, make sure you are ready for your first day back at school by going to sleep early and getting a full night’s sleep. Having a late night will leave you feeling groggy and impact on your concentration levels.
You’ll want to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on your first day in school. Going to bed early will result in feeling energised and sharp the next day… so you can make sure you’re ready to soak in all the information you’ll get on your first day.
