We Love Summer Holidays! Check out our 5 'must visit' destinations

This year, our Instagram feed has already been inundated with snaps from the beautiful blue seas of the Maldives, the scenic skyline of Dubai & the sandy beaches of Thailand and it looks like this is set to continue with even more exotic delights from the world's hottest travel destinations. Whether you are looking for a city break with the girls or a romantic break with your partner before you decide check out our list of the hottest destinations this year;

  1. The Gold Coast, Australia

Australia will host the 21st Commonwealth Games in April this year so you’ll see plenty of snaps of this beautiful country. With 33 miles of unbroken beaches, the Gold Coast Queensland is Australia’s favourite holiday destination. Famous for its sandy shores & water sports it’s the perfect spot for sunbathing, taking a surfing lesson, hiring a sailboard and experiencing Queensland’s beach culture. A relaxed vibe, perfect for travellers & sports enthusiasts.

  1. Valletta, Malta

Valletta is the capital of Malta and is in the spotlight as a 2018 European Capital of Culture. Cool kids come for Annie Mac’s Lost & Found festival with Diplo and Jamie XX attending this year.  2018 will see hundreds of events – art of all kinds, theatre, dance, opera and music, fireworks, food and fun – in Valletta and across the country.

Valletta itself is tiny, and is known for museums, palaces and grand churches. A perfect place to wander round taking in the architecture. Preparation for this year has included extensive restoration. The Maltese know how to party – and everyone is welcome at this year-long festival! Perfect for city breaks & romantic getaways!

  1. The Seychelles’

The Seychelles’ is slightly wilder, than its neighbours, the Maldives and Mauritius. Set with the Indian Ocean it easily lends itself to castaway fantasies. In March 2018, British Airways launches the UK’s first non-stop flights to the Seychelles so getting to paradise has never been easier! Made up of 115 islands with only a few inhabited, the landscape is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches & blue seas. Definitely a destination for rest & relaxation.

  1. Japan

Tourism to Japan doubled in the past three years alone. The opportunities are endless in Japan. In the cities you’ll be struck by the mass of people. These hyperactive metropolises are the place to catch the latest trend, the hippest fashions and must-have gadgets before they hit the rest of the world. Outside the cities there’s a vast range of travel options, from the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Shiretoko National Park in Hokkaidō to the sunny subtropical islands of Okinawa. Perfect for travellers & gadget lovers!

  1. Botswana

If it’s good enough for the new princess its good enough for us! Harry’s choose Botswana to woo Miss Markle on their third date. The Southern African nation overflows with wildlife, offering not only one of the continent’s greatest safari destinations, but also a chance to track the Big Five. Having converted 30% of its total land to protected park or game reserve, this isn’t a country in which you’ll struggle to see its amazing animals.  A place for safari's & soul searching.
